Examples of identified allergens included wheat, walnut, and nut shells; examples of filth and foreign materials included rodent feces, rock, glass, and plastic (109422). However, the root and leaf of marshmallow, not the flower, are the plant parts most commonly found in dietary supplements. Theoretically, use of marshmallow flower with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs can have additive effects, and might increase the risk for bleeding in some patients.
