Agrimony extract has been used with apparent safety in doses of 160 mg daily for 8 weeks (102702). Topically, agrimony 10% water extract, applied as a poultice several times daily, has also been used with apparent safety (8).
POSSIBLY UNSAFE ...when used orally or topically in excessive doses due to its 3% to 11% tannin content (12,14905,25318).
